Fins And Tails Guide Service, with Capt. Troy Sapp and Capt. Jill Sapp.
Troy started fishing with his great grandmother at the age of three. By the age of 13 he was fishing commercially for his grandparents’ historic seafood market, established on the West coast of Florida in the 1800’s. His passion for fishing has led him to be one of the most respected charter captains in the state of Florida for the last 20 years, as well as a respected advocate for protecting our State’s precious fishing resources. He is currently West Coast Regional Director and an Administrator for the Florida Fish and Wildlife Division of Law Enforcement’s Trained Eyes Program. His wife, Capt. Jill, began fishing when she was seven on the east coast of Florida with her grandfather and uncle and has been a passionate angler ever since. She earned her Captain’s licensed over 13 years ago, and together they run 200 plus charters per year, both inshore and offshore, in addition to being tournament anglers. Fins and Tails Guide Service runs August through May in Tampa Bay and Tarpon Springs, and fish for Tarpon May through June in the world famous Boca Grande Pass.
